Pack 66 is a Family Scouting Unit, making it one of the few units in the area accepting girls!
Cub Scout Pack 66 in La Grange Park, IL is sponsored by The Village Church. Monthly Pack meetings and most den meetings are typically held at The Village Church.
Pack 66 is part of the Boy Scouts of America Pathway to Adventure Council (Portage Creek District), headquartered in La Grange.
Pack 66 has a very active schedule throughout the year, including at least three campouts. Recent destinations and activities have included:
- Camp Rochelle (Rochelle, IL) - Overnight summer camp, hiking, crafts, camp skills, archery, bb's.
- Sherman Lake Camp (Augusta, MI) - Overnight winter camp, sledding, campfire, archery, swimming.
As a pack, we also participate in service projects, have our own Pinewood Derby (complete with prizes and pizza), learn fun skills like knot tying, archery, camp-fire building, hiking, survival skills and blasting homemade rockets! We spend most of our time having fun and building lasting friendships!
